On November 28, the 5th Gala of Lviv Honorary Ambassador took place at Lviv International Airport. Deputy mayor of Lviv for development Andriy Moskalenko presented awards to 7 newly elected Ambassadors for their significant contribution to the development of Lviv as a worthy venue for business hospitality events (national and international conferences, congresses, summits, symposia, etc.).
Scientific and business environment gathered to support their colleagues, to become more familiar with Lviv Honorary Ambassadors Program.
Special guest of the event was KRZYSZTOF CELUCH – founder and director of Celuch Consulting, expert in the conference industry, CMM, CITE, CIS, HMCC, CED.
He motivated Lviv Honorary Ambassadors to work even more closely with the Lviv Convention Bureau, to attract international conferences to Lviv. Moreover he told some interesting stories how to build cooperation among bureau, business community, and local authorities.

Director of Lviv Convention Bureau Andriy Pavliv summarized the program’s activities for 4 years at ceremony.
During this period, 29 projects were realized:
- holding international conferences
- invitation of world experts to take part in business and scientific events in Lviv
- presentation of Lviv at international exhibitions
- acquaintance of foreign guests with the conference facilities of the city
Together with Lviv Honorary Ambassadors, Lviv Convention Bureau submitted 17 applications for conferences in 2019.
5 of them were approved:

- Conference on Medical Chemistry – 2020
- European Forum of Medical Associations – 2020
- 15th International Congress EAVPT – 2021
The field of activity of Lviv Honorary Ambassadors is diverse. Ambassadors work in scientific, educational, cultural, medical, and business fields.
The activity of Lviv Honorary Ambassadors crosses all borders. Their work is widely known outside Ukraine. As specialists Ambassadors work at international companies and universities. They take part in conferences, often become speakers, and give lectures in different parts of the world.
Lviv Honorary Ambassadors are participants of international, national organizations, federations, associations. Thanks to their close cooperation with international colleagues, they manage to organize many projects, bring in world experts, attract international conferences, forums and congresses to Lviv.
The initiator and implementer of Lviv Honorary Ambassador Program is Lviv Convention Bureau. First Lviv Honorary Ambassadors were nominated in November 2015. Each year, the commission selects candidates to promote Lviv, attract international conferences.
