Lviv State University of Life Safety

Lviv State University of Life Safety is a leading higher educational institution of Ukraine for human safety. Since 2008 the university is a member of the European Fire Service Colleges Association (EFSCA), an organization which deals with human safety. Also in 2013 it became a member of the Magna Charta Universitatum at University of Bologna (Italy) that unites 800 leading Universities from all over the world. The university was founded in 1947. The building was designed in arcade-style (Rundbogenstil) to accommodate 500 people.

The university has 2,347 students and 30,000 graduates, 45 of them are generals (heads of Main Regional Directorates, and The State Service of Ukraine of Emergencies). In 2015 the new hall with the capacity of over 500 people was opened at the Univeristy, making it one of the best halls among academic venues.
