First Academical Ukrainian Theatre for children and youth was founded in 1920 in Kharkiv as a «Fairy Tale Theater». In 1944. moved to Lviv. Thus was launched a new kind of theatrical art, which had no analogues in world practice – theater for the youngest spectators. It has a spacious auditorium, which, in addition to performances, hosts cultural and educational conference events.
