Google Developers Group Lviv announces it will hold its GDG DevFest Ukraine 2014 on October 24-25 in the heart of Lviv, at the Kinopalace Cinema.This year’s two-day event will include a conference, three workshops and a full-day hackathon.

Developers from all around Ukraine and beyond will gather to learn and share experience on multiple aspects of Google technologies. GDG DevFest will feature three hands-on workshops to help developers apply the best tools and techniques in practice, a full-day hackathon for those willing to challenge their skills, more than 30 talks and discussions with the best speakers from Google, Intel, Prezi, as well as the GDG Awards which honor the most active Google Developer Groups and members from the past year.

There is still a chance to apply for tickets via the DevFest website (devfest.gdg.org.ua) now through Saturday, October 25.

GDG DevFest Ukraine 2014 activities include:

  • More than 30 talks presented by top notch speakers on a wide range of topics for designing, developing and integrating the latest Google technologies;
  • 3 parallel streams devoted to Android, Web & Cloud and Community topics;
  • 3 hands-on workshops to provide developers with code-level assistance, insight into optimal development techniques and guidance on how they can make the most of Google technologies;
  • full-day freestyle hackathon providing a perfect opportunity to present design and development skills;
  • the latest innovations, features and capabilities of Android, and how to enhance an app’s functionality, performance, quality and design;
  • the opportunity to connect with hundreds of fellow Google developers from around Ukraine and beyond — more than 350 attendees;
  • GDG Awards which recognize active Ukrainian Google Developer Groups and members and their achievements over the past year.
