On August 9-11, the International Dance Research Congress took place in Lviv. 100 dancers and researchers in the field of dance from 9 countries all over the world came to Lviv to tell their dance stories and show culture heritage.
The Congress is organized by Lviv Section of CID Unesco with the support of the Faculty of Culture and Arts (Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko) Ukrainian Dance Federation, Lviv City Council and Lviv Convention Bureau.
This is the second international congress in Lviv. Professional dancers strive to strengthen the diversity of dance art by establishing communication between representatives of different cultures.
Congress program included:

🔹 Lectures that arise from years of experience
🔹 Classes where teachers briefly demonstrate their own methods
🔹 Performances of dance groups, duets or solo performances
🔹 Video footage dedicated to individual productions or full performances
🔹 Exhibitions and sales of books, records, photos, costumes, accessories, etc.
🔹 Evening meetings, during which participants can chat in a relaxed atmosphere or dance to local music.
