On November 12-13 Art and Wine weekend took place in Lviv. This year’s slogan of the event is “Creating among sirens”. The festival aimed to support Ukrainian winemakers and artists during the war.
The program includes an art exhibition with wartime works, a wine market with products from Ukrainian wineries, thematic lectures on the future of Ukrainian wine and art, master classes, an art market, performances by musical groups, film screenings, etc.
A panel discussion was held as part of the festival, where participants discussed the future of Ukrainian wine, quality cooperation and the development of wine culture in Ukraine. Among the main issues is state support for winemakers. After that participants signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. It provides for the creation of a cluster of wine-producing communities of Ukraine. It aims to preserve the traditions of viticulture and winemaking in Ukraine through the development of joint projects. But the most important thing is to contribute to the increase in the area of vineyards, the development of natural and ecological production.
The funds raised from the festival were transferred to the needs of the project of the National Rehabilitation Center “UNBROKEN”.
