Meetings Today published a list of 20 people who are honored to call Meetings Trendsetters in 2022. LCB Acting director Sofiya Kayinska is on the list.
Sofia was recognized for her active position among representatives of the MICE industry, for opposing the Russian invasion of Ukraine at a professional level.
Colleagues noted that they liked the way Sofia deployed informational and diplomatic support in favor of Ukraine, organized together with Polish friends the online marathon “GMID United for Ukraine”, fundraising for two initiatives: scholarships for students studying business tourism in Poland together with Meeting Professionals International – MPI Foundation and Krzysztof Celuch and support of the collection for the military from Plast.
