Folklore groups from around the world present the culture of their countries in Lviv. March, 2021 celebrated the 10th year of the chocolate festival, which features dreamy, mouth-watering creations of esteemed professional chocolatiers. These food artisans present original chocolate creations and chocolate-inspired products that tease the taste buds of sweet-toothed tourists. The festival features workshops, competitions, chocolate sculptures, and ample time to taste these confections. It is aptly held at the Potocki Palace.

Coffee is the best means for uniting people, bringing them together.  The Lviv Coffee Festival takes place each year in September in the Potocki Palace where coffee manufacturers and connoisseurs from Ukraine meet and share their special brews. Some of the finest coffee afficionados get together to create designer coffees which are presented at a gala the last night of the festival.

The Golden Lion Festival is an annual dance and theatrical festival of imaginative and creative proportion. This year is the 32nd year of the festival, promising some powerful and experimental productions from around the world.

Leopolis Grand Prix is ​​an international festival of retro cars, the largest car event in Ukraine and Central Europe. Every year the festival hosts more than 100 crews from different European countries. The festival includes a parade of retro cars , exhibition under the sky, leading up to the culmination race on the historic “Lviv Triangle.” People can take small tours around the city in retro cars which is always popular. Held in early June with 100 exhibitors, this festival is always a major spectacle.

The festival has become an influential cultural event in Ukraine. Every year, more than 100,000 guests come from Ukraine and foreign countries. In 2016 The Guardian included the festival in the list of the best European festivals. Performers include an A-list of worldwide Jazz musicians and composers such as Herbie Hancock, Diana Krall, Wynton Marsalis, Bobby McFerrin and so many others, This takes place the last week of June every year. The festival just celebrated its 11th year.

The MozArt Festival has grown in notoriety and attendance in a few short years. The biggest attraction is conductor Oksana Lyniv, a native of Lviv who studied music locally and later in Germany and Austria. Now 43, Oksana Lyniv is a world-class phenomenon in the still male-dominated world of orchestral conductors.
She made history in March, 2021 when she was appointed the first female conductor of the Bayreuth Festival in Germany since its founding in 1876.
