The 5th edition of European Cities Marketing’s TIC Expert Meeting will be held in Lviv on October 24-26, 2018 and will focus on the New concept of Hospitality service.
ECM is an association of tourist councils of European cities, where Lviv has been actively involved for the eighth year in a row, in particular, in the working group on the activities of the Tourist Information Centers. Currently, only Lviv represents Ukraine in ECM.
The main topics of the event are New concept of Hospitality service. The program also includes panels on branding, marketing and digital technologies.

Organizers said that TIC Expert Meeting has two main advantages: it is an opportunity for European TIC representatives to meet with Lviv and it’s charm, and the second one is experience exchanging between TIC from Europe and Ukraine.
“Collaboration between Lviv and ECM, shows the positive results. And this applies not only to TIC, but also to statistics, marketing, City Card and other important areas of our activity”, said director of the Lviv City Tourism Development Center Mariana Oleskiv.

Only two representatives from one city can participate in the event
The project is being implemented by Lviv Tourist Development Center in cooperation with European Cities Marketing.
ECM TIC Expert Meeting is the annual event of European Cities Marketing, which every time takes place in a different European city and brings together participants from European TICs. The main objective is to exchange experience of TICs in different cities. In addition to the annual meeting, there are also online meetings every two months involving one representative from the cities. Each on-line meeting has its own theme, on which all participants have the opportunity to speak and answer each other’s questions. Themes are offered by the cities themselves, and these are usually new challenges faced by the TICs.
